About Us

The Speech Lady was founded by Chanel W. James - a wife, mother, and pediatric speech therapist with a passion for improving the lives of children and their families. Our company was built on the idea that the most meaningful impact comes from meeting families where they are, respecting their individual stories, and providing resources that extend beyond just speech and language. We know that if a child's caregivers are getting what they need, the needs of their children will be met... and that's why we take a whole family approach!

 

The Speech Lady has a long history of community service in Forsyth County and beyond, providing various forms of support to local Title 1 schools, donating thousands of books through giveaways, and giving to non-profits including Family Services of Forsyth County, Bethesda Center for the Homeless, Samaritan Ministries, and Crossnore Communities for Children through Blessings Building Bridges. We are here because we care!
